Summary

By the time the Autumn League came round the SuperHands core had already played two leagues and countless tournaments. The macho competitive drive which had been present in the Big Blue leagues had been dampened by the success the team had already realised. This arguably made the tournament more relaxed and enjoyable on the whole.

The tournament also saw the introduction and re introduction of personnel. Eleanor and Jo played their first games, Pierre played his first league game, and Fran came back into the team after a long spell on the sidelines due to injury.

The league organisers put SuperHands in the top division, along with 7 other teams, all of whom had significantly more experience than ourselves.

The leagues had its ups and downs. We won drew and lost in the opening three fixtures which meant we ended up in the lower section of the cut (apparently by fault of the organisers (but we're not bitter)). We went on to cruise through the lower half of the draw and won the section.
